WORCESTER HUNTER CHASE

On Wednesday evening 24th April 2008 Worcester Racecourse is staging a Hunter Chase over 2 Miles and 7 Furlongs. Please find below the qualifying conditions to enter a horse for this race.

The race is sponsored by Connolly's Red Mills and is a Open Hunter Chase (Class 6).

Total Prize Fund : £ 2,000.

£1,318 to the winning horse, £405 to the second and £202 to the third.

This race is for five year olds and upwards over 2 Miles and about 7 Furlongs.

£10 stake with Weights - 11 stone 12 lb each, with Mares allowed 7lb allowance.

Penalties, after 2006, a winner of a steeple chase 4lb, of 2 or more such steeple chases 7lb.

All horses to be ridden by amateur riders.
