New Proposed Start Dates for 2008 - 2009 Point-to-Point Season

The 2008/2009 Point-to-Point Season

So as to provide Owners with a balanced programme, and to avoid unpopular fixture clashes of pre-Christmas meetings, subject to formal final approval, the next Point-to-Point season will start a day early on Sunday 30th November, thereby allowing three week-ends for racing prior to the Christmas week-end . It is anticipated that both The Cambridge University Draghounds at Cottenham in East Anglia and the Black Forest Lodge Club in Devon will be applying to race on that date. The Tweseldown Racing Club are also expected to apply for the following Sunday 7th December as are the Farmers Bloodhounds at Heythrop on Sunday 14th December.

The South Midland Area Dinner Dance Friday 31st October 2008.

The South Midland Area Dinner Dance will take place this year on Friday 31st October 2008 at The Holt Hotel, Hopcrofts Holt. It will be a Masked Halloween Dinner Dance, with the Area Awards Ceremony. More information regarding this event will be posted to the site as soon as it is available.
